Medical Assistant OpportunityValley Health Systems, Inc., the parent organization of Holyoke Medical Center and Holyoke Medical Group, is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across Western Massachusetts. Our network of convenient locations offers a wide range of services, including adult primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, and walk-in care, all aimed at delivering the highest quality of care to our community. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care Physician Practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the patient experience and ensure smooth operations within the office.In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical duties, facilitating patient flow, and supporting the team in delivering exceptional care.Key Responsibilities:Escorting patients to clinical areas and ensuring their comfort throughout their visitTaking and accurately documenting vital signsObtaining medical histories and documenting them in patient recordsAdministering vaccinesAssisting with patient flow to maintain efficiency and timeliness of appointmentsEnsuring accurate and up-to-date medical record-keepingQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentGraduation from an ABHES or CAAHEP-accredited Medical Assistant programA minimum of two years of experience in a medical or clinic setting preferredCertification or Registration within six months of hire (RMA/AMT, CMA/AAMA, or CCMA/NHA)Bilingual in English/Spanish preferredOur competitive salary package is adjusted to align with a candidate’s relevant experience and skills.
