Medical Assistant / Front Office CoordinatorWe are seeking an experienced, licensed Medical Assistant (MA) / Front Office Coordinator to join a busy, patient-centered medical practice in Lucedale, Mississippi. This hybrid role is ideal for a highly capable, tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment while also delivering an exceptional front office experience.In this role, you will work closely with the provider and broader team to support both clinical operations and front office workflow, ensuring a seamless, high-quality patient experience from check-in to check-out.This is a hands-on, onsite role that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, team-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities.This is not an entry-level role and is hiring ASAP.What You'll DoPerform hands-on clinical duties including EKGs, blood draws, vital signs, and other practical MA responsibilities independentlyPrepare patients for exams and assist providers during visits and proceduresEnsure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health recordDeliver a high-quality patient experience through professionalism, empathy, and clear communicationMaintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies according to practice standardsUse EHR systems efficiently and adapt quickly to new workflows, tools, and technologyAnticipate provider needs and support smooth, efficient clinic flowCommunicate effectively with both clinical and administrative team members to ensure continuity of careDemonstrate a strong team-oriented mindset, stepping in where needed to support patients and colleaguesContribute positively to a collaborative, respectful, and patient-focused practice cultureGreet and check in patients, creating a welcoming and professional first impressionManage scheduling, appointment confirmations, and incoming phone callsVerify insurance, collect copays, and assist with basic billing coordinationMaintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentationCoordinate patient check-out, follow-ups, and referralsWhat We're Looking ForCertified or Licensed Medical Assistant (required)Previous MA experience required — this is not an entry-level roleProven ability to independently perform EKGs, blood draws, and other clinical MA dutiesStrong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and organizational skillsHigh level of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and intellectual curiosityExcellent communication skills with patients, providers, and staffComfortable with technology and eager to learn new systems quicklyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining empathy and accuracyWhy JoinImmediate start in a well-established, busy medical practiceOpportunity to work closely with providers and make a meaningful impact on patient careSupportive, team-oriented environment that values intelligence, empathy, and initiative$15 - $15 an hour
