Job description
Medical AssistantResponsible for assisting providers with patient care and organizational tasks. Responsible for chart management. May be assigned to specific specialty to help with patient care.Education: High School Diploma required or GED. Completed training in Medical Assistant program and graduated course.Experience: One –two years as a medical assistant preferred.Specific Skills: Good verbal and written communication, ability to interact with public and hospital personnel in a pleasant manner, strict adherence to LCMC's policies and procedures to specifically include confidentialityComputer Skills: Word and Excel programs. Must be able to maintain an Excel spreadsheet for tracking.Licenses: N/ACertifications: Current BLS/CPR certification NCCT Medical Assistant certification preferred
