Medical AssistantBusy Dermatologist office seeking a team player for a full-time clinical position. The medical/clinical assistant works as part of the health care team by assisting the practice provider in providing high-quality patient care in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to remain focused in a busy atmosphere while delivering a high level of customer service.Job DescriptionEscorting patients to exam roomsAssist provider with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests.Assist patients with aftercare instructionsTriage and process messages from patients, front office staff and providers.Clean and restock exam roomsSterilize instrumentsScribing for the providersQualificationsAbility to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flowThe ability to perform phlebotomyCandidates must consent to, and pass a criminal background check and drug screenJob Type:Full-time: Mon-Thurs, 7:45am-5:00/5:30pm and Fridays, 7:45am-2:00pmExperience:1-2 years' work experience as a nursing assistant or medical assistant (preferred but requiredKnowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalentAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
