In this dynamic role, the Medical Assistant/Receptionist will support both clinical and administrative operations by assisting with patient registration, collecting and maintaining accurate patient information, coordinating patient flow and preparing patients for their visits. This position will work closely with providers and team members to ensure efficient daily operations while delivering patient centered services. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated healthcare professional who enjoys interacting with patients, thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to grow their career within a leading healthcare organization.Department: HVA Pompton PlainsLocation: Pompton PlainsStatus: Part TimeShift: DaysHours: 8:30am to 4:30pmJob Qualifications:A minimum of one or more years (1+) experience as a medical assistant preferredAbility to manage patient flow effectively and take vital signsAssisting in variety of treatments and medications as directedRecording test results and maintaining medical recordsPreparing exam room with supplies and equipment for treatmentsKnowledge of insurance verification, prior authorization process and patient registration proceduresExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism when handling sensitive patient informationExperience working with EPIC and/or other electronic medical record systemsEducation:High School Graduate or equivalent of five (5) years of Medical Assistant/PCT experienceCompletion of an accredited program for Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician (PCT)Certifications:Current CPR CertificationCertified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)/Patient Care Technician (PCT)Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Minimum rate: $18.50
