Medical Assistant IIUnder the general supervision of the Director of Orthopedic Clinic, the Medical Assistant II assists the physician in the delivery of direct patient care in the outpatient setting. Obtains pre-authorizations and schedules patient appointments for diagnostic testing, assists physician's and physician assistant with patient calls and requests, as well as applying and removing casts as instructed by the physician.The Medical Assistant II demonstrates professional communication and interpersonal skills, superior organizational skills, and be able to deal effectively with multiple demands.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they're invaluable.
