Job description
Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant is the first point of contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative duties in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.As a Medical Assistant, you will report to the Clinical Administrator and/or Center Administrator and work closely with Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care and support efficient clinic operations. You will assist with patient intake, discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, administer medications and vaccines (as permitted by certification), perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screenings. You will also prepare and maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR). Success in this role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while helping ensure a positive experience for patients and providers.RequiredSuccessful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from ProviderHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR CertifiedThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $43,000 - $56,200 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
