This position performs routine medical assisting procedures to promote patient comfort, safety, and quality care.Job Specifications and Core Competencies:Education:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a one-year medical assistant program or an accredited two-year medical assisting programPrevious experience or training in general medical office skills and procedures preferredKnowledge of medical terminology requiredLicensure:Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant through AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA is preferred at hire and required within 90 daysCPR certification required within 60 days of hireExperience:One to three years of experience in a medical or physician office preferredBasic business office, clinical, and computer skills preferredOur Commitment:Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
