Medical AssistantNextaff is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to join our client's team in St Petersburg, FL. As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for a variety of clinical and administrative tasks including assisting in examinations under the direction of a physician. Duties include rooming patients, documenting medical histories, measuring vital signs, administering injections, preparing & maintaining treatment rooms, entering patient data into the EMR system and assisting in front desk coverage. This is a full-time contract-to-hire position with a Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM schedule, which allows you the opportunity to earn a permanent position with our client.What's In It For You...$20-$23 per hour, based on your experience as a Medical AssistantWeekly pay every Friday while on assignment and eligibility to apply for health insurance on the 1st day of employment with NextaffOpportunity to earn permanent position with an attractive benefits package, including health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, paid holidays and matching 401(k)What We Need From You...At least 1 year of current experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care office with experience in a managed care environmentYou've roomed patients, taken vital signs, and have an understanding of medical office procedures and terminologyYou have experience documenting an EHR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred)High School diploma or equivalent and background check/drug screening requiredWhy Work With Nextaff?
