Medical AssistantPerforms non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or nurse midwife.Schedule:Monday – Friday8:00am – 5:00pm13-Week AssignmentPay:$25.00 -$27.00 DEOEssential Job Functions:Set up exam rooms and check in patients. Maintains a patient recall system, including continuity of care logs for lab tests, referrals and transfers.Obtains vital signs. Reports significant findings and pertinent patient observations to clinic physicians.Performs venipunctures as ordered.Performs audiometry and vision testing.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Requirements:1 year of Experience as Medical AssistantHigh School Diploma/GED or EquivalentMust Have Epic ExperienceOrganized and maintained files, documents, and office records.Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and other basic office software.BLS Certified by AHA OnlyMust be able to pass medical screeningsMust be able to pass background check.All associates receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
