Medical AssistantThe position will support the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare by following the core values of Providence Medical Group - Justice, Excellence, Dignity, Integrity, and Compassion. Medical Assistants work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed and assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients. This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams. We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview.The job utilizes a combination of skills including:Clerical computer and phone skillsCustomer service/people skillsMedical terminologyHands on clinical skillsTypical job skills include:Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressureUpdating medications, allergies and other information in patient's medical recordsPerforming some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testingThis is a combined posting for Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Registered and Medical Assistant.
