If you thrive in a dynamic setting and love being a key part of a clinical team, you'll feel right at home with us.About the RoleAs a Medical Assistant in our urgent care center, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients through every step of their visit. This position blends hands?on clinical work, patient interaction, and teamwork in a setting where no two days feel the same.What You'll DoWelcome patients, room them efficiently, and gather accurate medical histories and vital signsAssist providers with exams, procedures, wound care, testing, and treatmentsPerform CLIA?waived lab tests, collect and prepare specimens, and maintain lab quality controlAdminister medications, injections, and vaccines under provider supervisionConduct EKGs, point?of?care testing, and other diagnostic support tasksDraw blood for labs as orderedKeep documentation complete, accurate, and timelyEnsure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patient careSupport smooth patient flow in a high?volume environmentPerform drug screens and provide patient education and follow?up instructionsContribute as a collaborative, dependable member of the clinical teamFollow all infection control, safety, and compliance standardsWhat You BringMedical Assistant certification or relevant clinical trainingExperience in urgent care, emergency, or other fast?paced settings (preferred)Strong organization, attention to detail, and calm under pressureExcellent communication and a compassionate, patient?focused approachPositive, team?oriented attitudeWhy You'll Love Working With Us This is a place where your clinical skills matter, your compassion makes a difference, and your team has your back.
