Job description
Medical AssistantWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Assistant for a 13-week long-term assignment with the potential for permanent hire. This role is ideal for local candidates only —must reside within 45 minutes of the clinic. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory or clinical settingAssist with patient intake, vital signs, clinical documentation, and general administrative supportUtilize Epic EMR system for accurate and timely record-keepingMaintain workflow in a busy medical office environmentRequirements:Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting (required)One of the following is required: Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant programActive CT CNA, EMT, or Paramedic Certification (preferred)In lieu of education, at least 2 years of direct patient care experience in acute or ambulatory careExperience with Epic EMR (preferred)Prior experience in a high-volume medical office (preferred)
