This role supports both clinical and administrative functions within our Women's Health department, assisting providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.Essential Responsibilities:Document patient information accurately and timely in the EHRComplete intake for new and returning patientsPrepare patients and assist providers during women's health examsSet up and assist with procedures including pelvic exams, Pap smears, IUDs, Nexplanon, and biopsiesAdminister vaccines and perform screening proceduresDraw blood and complete standing orders safely and accuratelyParticipate in daily huddles and support care team coordinationSchedule follow-up appointments and support patient flowAddress barriers to care and support treatment complianceClean, stock, and maintain exam rooms and clinical areasCoordinate with labs and external partners as neededFollow all HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory guidelinesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentGraduate of an accredited school with a Medical Assistant DiplomaCurrent BLS certificationExperience:Minimum of 6 months of experience in a Women's Health or OB/GYN settingSkills & Abilities:Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic knowledge of medical terminology and women's health proceduresProficient in EHR systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and organizationBenefits & Rewards:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife and Disability Insurance, and AD&D offeringsGenerous PTO and 7 paid company holidays401(k) with employer contribution after one yearEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee discount programGrowth OpportunitiesPet InsuranceIf you're ready to grow your career and make a meaningful impact in women's health, apply today and join Tampa Family Health Centers.Please note that employee's initial training schedule may differ from the regular schedule of the position. All new hires, including part-time employees, must be available for up to 40 hours of in-person, on-site training during their first week. Additional Mandatory training may continue for approximately two to three weeks, depending on the position and training requirements. Training may take place at a TFHC location other than the employees assigned work location.
