Job description
Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant will support specialty practices by performing a variety of clinical tasks with moderate patient interaction. Working within a team of providers and assistants, this role focuses primarily on clinical duties to ensure efficient patient care and smooth operation of the facility, however, cross-training to be able to support registration or check-in is a plus.ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for examinations and proceduresMeasure and record vital signs accuratelyMaintain and update medical recordsSchedule patient appointments efficientlyRecord and update patient medication listsOther duties as identified by clinic lead or managerDesired QualificationsCertificate in Medical AssistingPreferred Qualifications1+ years of experience in medical assistingFriendly, approachable personalityStrong patient communication abilitiesAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
