Job description
HOPD Medical AssistantThe HOPD Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for patient care activities under the delegation and supervision of the HOPD Oncology RN. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: obtaining patient medical history information, expediting patient flow, rooming patients, stocking supplies, and navigating electronic health record system (EPIC), The MA functions as a member of the healthcare team with responsibilities commensurate with training and demonstrated competencies.
