Join Our Team as a Medical Billing Specialist!Are you an experienced medical billing professional looking for an exciting opportunity in Mason, OH? Join our dynamic team at the Cincinnati Service Center where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of medical claims. Work in a hybrid environment with remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and in-office collaboration on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.Job ResponsibilitiesReview and transmit medical claims using electronic health records (EHR) systems.Monitor and adjust rejected claims for resubmission.Post claim payments and denials in the EHR system by downloading insurance carrier explanations of payments (EOPs).Investigate and resolve denied claims for resubmission.Research open balances and resubmit claims within filing limits.Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve claim issues.Distribute patient billing statements and manage payments through the patient portal.Initiate refunds and repayments as necessary.Serve as the primary contact for vision and medical claims inquiries.Collaborate with the corporate manager to maximize claim collection rates.RequirementsHigh school diploma.Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.Proficiency in medical billing and coding.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening, presentation).PreferencesExperience in multi-doctor practices.Familiarity with multiple insurance carriers and their claim requirements.Proven problem-solving abilities.Ready to make a difference in healthcare billing?
