Medical Biller Opportunity At Pacific Audiology ClinicPacific Audiology Clinic is seeking a Medical Biller to join our billing department team. Our exceptional, well-established Audiology Practice is seeking a full-time Medical Biller to join our team. Candidates need to be highly motivated, able to work independently, possess strong critical thinking as well as problem-solving skills. They must be willing to work in a fast-paced setting with a can-do attitude and be a team player. Thank you for considering our team as your new work family!Job Duties and Responsibilities:Claims submission; both electronic claims submission and manualContact insurance companies regarding denied claimsContact insurance companies and patients with questions related to billingAnswer billing inquiries from patients, staff and insurance companies and resolve complaintsSend appeals to insurance companies with appropriate documentationAccounts receivable aging reviewManage assigned workflows to include follow up on status of claims, denials and appeals to ensure timely receipt of paymentEligibility & Benefit CheckOther duties as assignedExperience Requirements:Demonstrated knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codesFamiliar with Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial insurance carrier rulesMinimum of 1 year of Billing and Accounts Receivable experienceSkills Required:Ability to type 40+ words-per-minuteFriendly disposition and excellent communication skillsMust be capable of working independently and as part of the teamAbility to follow directions and systems, and maintain close attention to detailProblem solving and critical thinking skillsBenefits:Employer paid health, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance401(k)Profit sharingUnlimited vacationParental leavePay is $22-$25 hourly to start depending on experience
