Job description
Patient Financial & Front Desk SupportWe are seeking a detail-oriented and personable team member to support both our patient financial processes and front desk operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth patient experience while also supporting accurate billing, insurance coordination, and communication with our billing partners.Key Responsibilities:Patient Financial & Billing SupportReview and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and insurance responsesLiaise with our external billing company to resolve claim issues, denials, and discrepanciesAssist with insurance verification and pre-screening prior to patient visitsMonitor outstanding balances and support collection processes in a professional mannerIdentify trends in billing issues and communicate with leadership to improve processesFront Desk & Patient ExperienceWarmly greet members, guests, and physical therapy patientsAnswer phone calls in a friendly, helpful, and timely mannerSchedule appointments and maintain accurate patient recordsCollect co-payments and other patient financial responsibilitiesMaintain strong communication between therapists, patients, and administrative teamRespond to patient concerns in a timely and professional mannerOperationsMaintain a clean and organized reception areaRepresent the company in a positive and professional manner at all timesParticipate in team meetings and training sessionsSupport awareness of programs offered by Cape Cod Rehab and affiliated fitness facilitiesRequirementsExperience in medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare administration preferredAbility to read and understand EOBs and insurance terminologyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProficiency with computers, including Excel and data entryExcellent communication and organizational skillsFriendly, professional demeanor with patients and team membersPrior medical office or front desk experience preferredScheduleMonday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMSome flexibility for earlier or later shifts
