Medical Billing Call Center RepresentativeMedical Billing Call Center Rep Location: Farmington, CT Company: J. Morrissey Position Type: Temporary-to-Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM Pay Rate: $21.00–$23.00/hourJob DescriptionAre you an experienced medical billing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment? J. Morrissey is partnering with a busy specialty medical practice in Farmington, CT to identify a Medical Billing Administrator/Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, delivering exceptional customer service, and helping patients navigate their medical billing questions.Answer a high volume of inbound calls from patients regarding medical billing inquiries.Assist patients with questions related to past due balances, billing statements, and payment options.Review and explain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to help patients understand insurance processing and financial responsibility.Research patient accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients while providing accurate information.Document all patient interactions thoroughly and maintain account records.Collaborate with internal billing and insurance teams to resolve outstanding issues.Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.QualificationsPrevious medical billing experience is required. Strong understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), insurance payments, and patient financial responsibility. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with heavy inbound phone volume. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficiency with medical billing systems and electronic medical records is a plus.Why Join J.
