Medical Billing & Collections SpecialistPeopleShare is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Medical Billing & Collections Specialist to join the team of a global healthcare company based in Malvern, PA. Medical Billing & Collections Specialist Job Details:Schedule: Monday to Friday, full time, start time between 7:00am and 9:00amPay Rate: $19/hourMust live local to Malvern, PAMedical Billing & Collections Specialist Job Description:Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance claims from initial follow-up through final resolution.Work outstanding claims throughout the month, documenting progress and completing necessary follow-up.Contact commercial insurance companies to determine claim status and identify reasons for delayed or missing payments.Work directly with insurance representatives to resolve outstanding balances and secure payment.Research claims using insurance payor portals, internal databases, and other electronic systems.Medical Billing & Collections Specialist Job Requirements:Previous experience in medical billing, healthcare collections, insurance claims, accounts receivable, revenue cycle, or a related field preferred.Comfortable navigating insurance company websites and payor portals.Strong research and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.PeopleShare provides equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, color, age, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic disposition, neurodiversity, disability, veteran status, or any other protected category or class under federal, state, and/or local laws.
