Medical Billing Specialist (Revenue Cycle Management)This is not a remote position; it is in the office Monday - Friday.This is not an entry-level role and requires independent ownership of revenue cycle processes.Position SummaryReliant Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist with demonstrated Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) expertise. This role is responsible for managing AR, payer follow-ups, and claim resolution to ensure timely reimbursement.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage full Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processesVerify insurance eligibility and benefits for commercial and Medicaid MCO payersFollow up on Accounts Receivable exceeding 30 daysReview AR aging reports and resolve outstanding balancesPost payments and perform account reconciliationsObtain and manage insurance authorizationsReview and correct claims to prevent denialsInterpret payer contracts and reimbursement guidelinesMaintain accurate billing documentationCommunicate with payers, patients, and internal teamsRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of medical billing with RCM responsibilitiesExperience with AR follow-up and medical collectionsKnowledge of medical office workflowsProficiency with EMR/EHR systemsUnderstanding of medical terminologyKnowledge of CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding (DRG preferred)Experience with payment posting and account reconciliationAbility to manage payer communications independentlyPreferred QualificationsBilingual (English/Spanish)Medicaid MCO billing experienceMulti-location healthcare billing experienceBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Company-paid life insurance and AD&DShort- and long-term disability optionsPaid Time Off (PTO), holidays, and sick leave401(k) with employer matchEmployee Referral Bonus Program
