Looking for local candidates! $23 - $26 / hourResponsibilities include:Obtaining referrals and pre-authorizations as requiredChecking benefits and eligibility for DME coveragePreparing and reviewing claims using billing softwareChecking insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discountsMinimizing timely filing write offsIdentifying and billing secondary insurancesResearching and appealing denied claimsSetting up patient payment plans and updating billing software with needed changesGuiding customers through their billing inquiriesProviding world class customer experiences to internal and external customersOrganizing and maintaining patient health information in both electronic and hard copies.Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completenessQualifications:High School diploma required with AA degree preferred2-3 years of Medicare or DME experience (Required)TIM’s experience is preferredHandi was rated as a Top Work Place by the Star Tribune for the last 11 years!
