Medical Director (DVM) – League City, TX
A veterinary hospital in League City, TX is seeking a dedicated Medical Director to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking to provide high-quality care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, high-quality medical and surgical care to patients
Lead and mentor veterinary team members to promote a positive and collaborative environment
Ensure compliance with state and federal veterinary laws, including proper maintenance of controlled substance records
Partner with practice management to maintain consistent standards of care and operational excellence
Assist in resolving medical-related client concerns with professionalism and empathy
Support continuous improvement in medical protocols, quality assurance, and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Arizona
DEA license required
Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience; leadership experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to motivate and lead a team with fairness and collaboration
