Part‑Time Internal Medicine Medical Director Position in Raleigh, NC

Position Overview:
The Internal Medicine Medical Director provides clinical oversight and leadership for the facility's internal medicine services, ensuring high standards of patient care, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical supervision and oversight for the advanced practice providers (APPs) performing inpatient rounding.
Review and co‑sign charts to ensure quality, accuracy, and appropriate follow‑up of patient care.
Conduct routine in‑person supervision (~10 hours per week) on‑site at Triangle Springs.
Ensure compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and clinical best practices.
Collaborate with psychiatric and clinical leadership to promote integrated, multidisciplinary patient care.
Participate in periodic performance evaluations and case reviews as needed.
Position Type:
Contracted part‑time role (approximately 10 hours per week).
Flexible scheduling — hours may be completed over 3‑4 days per week; no requirement for five contiguous workdays.
Primarily supervisory and administrative in nature - minimal or no direct patient rounding required.
