Job description
We are a global healthcare leader and a pioneer in the plasma derivatives industry. We are seeking a licensed Pathologist to serve as our part-time Center Medical Director. This role is ideal for a practicing or retired medical professional looking for a minimal-time commitment. You will provide essential clinical oversight, review laboratory quality control, and ensure regulatory compliance for our plasma collection facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Oversight: Serve as the designated Medical/Laboratory Director to satisfy CLIA, FDA, and state regulations.
Quality Review: Conduct monthly reviews of center laboratory quality control logs, proficiency testing, and center safety protocols.
Donor & Staff Support: Review complex donor suitability cases, oversee medical staff training certifications, and address any infrequent adverse event reports.
Audit Preparation: Ensure the center remains audit-ready for internal, federal, and state regulatory inspections.
Qualifications & Education:
Education: Medical Degree Pathology.
Licensure: Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of operation.
Schedule & Compensation:
Hours: Approximately 2 hours per week total.
Flexibility: Work hours are highly flexible. Monthly hours can be scheduled at your convenience during center operational hours to fit your existing medical practice or personal schedule.
