Medical Director Physician Lake City FL
$300K $375K Mon Fri 5 8 Hours Onsite Daily Inpatient Rehabilitation
We are seeking a PM&R Physician or Internal Medicine Physician with inpatient rehabilitation experience to join an established inpatient rehabilitation hospital as Medical Director.
This is a full-time, Monday Friday opportunity offering an excellent combination of strong compensation, flexible daily hours, clinical autonomy, and work-life balance.
Schedule & Compensation $300,000 $375,000 annually, depending on hours worked and patient census
Monday Friday Approximately 5 8 hours onsite per day
Flexible start and end times
No 12-hour shifts
What You'll Do Provide medical management for inpatient rehabilitation patients
Complete patient evaluations, H&Ps, and follow-up care
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Develop and approve rehabilitation care plans
Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, therapists, nursing, and other clinical staff
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment
Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) OR Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with inpatient rehabilitation experience
Active or eligible for Florida medical license
DEA registration and appropriate controlled-substance credentials
