Lead a Respected AAHA-Accredited Practice in Coastal Virginia
Churchland Animal Hospital is seeking aMedical Director (DVM) to lead our established, multi-doctor small animal practice in Portsmouth, Virginia. For more than 30 years, we've proudly served the Hampton Roads community while building a reputation for quality medicine, teamwork, and exceptional client care.

As Medical Director, you'll partner with hospital leadership and fellow veterinarians to support medical excellence and continued growth.
Responsibilities include:
Upholding and advancing standards of care
Mentoring and supporting associate veterinarians
Encouraging case collaboration and medical decision-making
Supporting hospital growth and team development
Fostering a positive, team-focused culture
This is a working leadership role, allowing you to continue practicing high-quality medicine while influencing the hospital's future direction.
