Imagine being part of a vibrant healthcare team in an expanding community where each test you perform brings hope and clarity to patient care. In this full-time, first-shift role at a busy community hospital in an area bustling with growth and innovation, you will play an integral part in delivering impactful diagnostic results that matter.

Description – What You'll Do

Interpret test results accurately, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure all laboratory instruments are properly calibrated and maintained.

Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for laboratory testing as necessary.

Document all work meticulously, provide training for new staff and interns, and contribute to maintaining high laboratory quality standards.

Uphold safety practices and comply with regulatory standards and certifications.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is expected within the first year of hire.

Maintain active certification throughout your employment.

Skills

Able to exercise independent judgment in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, especially in quality control processes.

Benefits

Competitive annual salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.

Generous paid time off starting from day one, with additional time accrued for holidays and vacations.

Continuing education opportunities and support for your professional advancement.

A robust total rewards package focused on your holistic well-being.

Transforming Lives Through Precision

In this role, your meticulous work empowers health professionals to make critical decisions. One well-prepared sample can confirm a diagnosis, while another might uncover a potential threat to health before symptoms even arise. Your precision directly impacts the care that patients receive, ensuring they get the best treatment possible.

A Community Committed to Growth

This position offers more than just a job — it introduces you to a caring community. You'll collaborate within a team dedicated to ongoing improvement and innovation. Opportunities to engage in committees and propose new initiatives will empower you to be part of a culture that thrives on shared ideas.

A Place Where Nature and Community Flourish

Envision a thriving community where beautiful green parks meet urban conveniences. The picturesque environment features nature trails perfect for walking or biking, local farmers' markets full of regional delights, and art fairs that celebrate creativity. Enjoy coffee at local cafes that serve as gathering spots for spirited conversations about everything from local sports to the latest in health care.

When life calls for relaxation, paddleboarding at sunset or enjoying a concert on the lawn becomes your weekend escape. The community supports each other, and that sense of connectedness is mirrored in the healthcare system. With reasonable commuting options compared to larger cities and the ability to invest your earnings in enriching experiences, living here is about enjoying life to the fullest.

Creating Lasting Impact Together

In this vibrant community, every member of the lab team plays a critical role in enhancing public health. Your work leads to quicker results, safer care environments, and happier patients, while your contributions help sustain quality healthcare. Each note of appreciation from healthcare partners reaffirms the pivotal role you play in their successes.
