FTE: 1.00
Shift: Day
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 4:30p
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible for assessing, developing, planning, implementing and evaluating psychosocial interventions that support the educational, developmental, emotional and therapeutic needs of pediatric patients and their families. Utilizes a facility dog to provide therapeutic Child Life interventions within the inpatient setting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Child Development, Family Studies, Education, or Psychology required or related degree.
One (1) year supervised experience in an established Child Life Program.
Completion of a 600-hour Child Life internship required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree preferred.
Child Life Certification preferred.
