Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a beautiful and state of the art 81-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a Medical Nurse Practitioner position.

Description
The Nurse Practitioner serves as an advanced practice nurse in the area of medical management; medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective interventions in collaboration with and under the direction of a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan. Prescriptive authority is accomplished through the collaboration with a licensed physician.
Schedule
40 hours a week, 4 10 hour shifts, every third weekend rotation required.

Qualifications
Requirements
Must be an RN, licensed to practice in the State of Michigan, holding an active Nurse Practitioner NP Specialty License
1-3 years of relevant work experience strongly preferred
Must meet all mandatory education and training requirements needed to maintain Michigan licensure, with a Nurse Practitioner Specialty designation
