Medical Office AssistantNulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to provide support to medical staff at our Johnstown location. The Medical Office Assistant will take patient medical histories, record vital signs of patients and complete administrative and clinical tasks in the office.Specific duties to include, but not limited to:Greet patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, height, weight & waist circumference)Provide patient with additional paperworkPerform medication reconciliation and verify pharmacy with patientsAssist in satisfying MCO's laboratory monitoring requirementsPerform routine blood draws and collect urine specimens (if trained)Perform electrocardiograms (if trained)Assist nursing staff in responding to patient phone callsAssist in paperwork requests and obtaining medical records from other providers.Education, Experience, Skills, Training:High School Diploma or equivalent. The successful applicant should have at least one-year experience working in the Medical Office Assistant field and must be able to maintain strict confidentiality. Must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances.This is a full-time position with medical, dental and vision benefits, as well as, paid vacation and paid holidays.Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center is an equal opportunity employer.
