Job description
Provides direct patient care within a high-acuity oncology unit, serving patients with cancer treatment and symptom management, including immunosuppression and neutropenia support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring clear communication across care continuum.
Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Accepted education: BSN or ADN; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Licensure: RN required.
Experience: New graduates accepted; 2+ years preferred.
Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment.
Additional Info:
