Job description
Hematology - Oncology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: On Call;This facility is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Nine-hour shifts with overtime paid after 9 hours only. Includes 30 minutes of administrative time and a 1-hour lunch.
Primarily outpatient clinic. On-call coverage includes hospital consults and inpatient rounding. Weekday hospital visits for new consults and weekend rounding/emergent consults as needed.
Approximately 70% Oncology and 30% Hematology (primarily benign hematology cases). On-call physician manages new hospital consults. Nurse Practitioners round on established inpatients. Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified.
Certifications Required: Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration preferred.
Licensure Required: Active Indiana medical license preferred.
