Medical Oncologist Position

About this role:
As a Medical Oncologist you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Our Cancer Center at Good Samaritan Hospital is part of a larger group of centers across our four hospitals in the Denver and surrounding areas. So, you would be a part of team of oncologists collaborating across sites to care for patients, but based at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO.
Clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm. Our oncologists work 40 hours on a 4 day week.
You'll be on call ~1:8 for all locations; Good Samaritan Medical Center, Platte Valley Medical Center, Lutheran Medical Center, and Saint Joseph Hospital Call is typically very light

Compensation:
Base Salary: $576,015
wRVU Production Incentive in addition to base compensation
Paid Call Coverage: $450 per weeknight call shift $1,890 per weekend call shift Call compensation begins with the first call shift
Recruitment Incentives
Competitive sign-on bonus, commensurate with experience
Relocation assistance for qualified candidates
Fellowship stipends available for eligible trainees
What you'll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Residency training in Internal Medicine
Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology
Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
