Job description
Looking for a NP/PA hire for addiction treatment centers in San Fernando Valley, CA.
nnTelehealth visits
nFT Mon-Fri or PT available
n$80/hour- possible salary for FT
nFlexible hours
n nnEssential Duties include but not limited to:
nnAssesses patients' mental and physical status based on the presenting symptoms and complaints
nDocuments patients' medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, and outcomes
nWriting prescriptions for psychotropic and detox medications as allowed by state regulations and collaborative practice agreements
nEvaluate patients' behavior to formulate diagnoses or assess treatments
n nnRequired Skills/Abilities:
nnStrong skills to manage, coordinate, and evaluate the care and education of the patient
nTrained to adhere to medications and therapies with protocols.
nMay be required to weekends, and holidays. Rotating Schedule.
nStrong computer skills, telehealth capabilities.
n nnEducation, Licenses & Experience:
nnMust possess current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
nDEA License
nAddiction Treatment experience preferred, but not required
nMAT Waiver Training completed to prescribe detox medications is preferred
nWill consider new grads who are passionate about getting into addiction and psychiatry!
