Job description
Degrees:
Masters.
Licenses & Certifications:
CCPM Clinical Medical Physics Certification (Canada).
ABMP Medical Health Physics Certification.
ABR Medical Physics Certification.
Medical Physicist in Training.
Therapeutic Radiological Physicist License.
Additional Qualifications:
Masters Degree, DMP or PhD in medical physics from an accredited College or University.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical radiation physics.
For non-certified candidates, Board eligibility and completion of certification (ABR, ABMP or CCPM) within three years.
Must maintain certification and continuing education requirements outlined by the American College of Radiology, current certification in field by American Board of Radiology or Board of Medical Physics.
Must obtain and maintain board certification and valid State of Florida license for medical physics as required--either TRP or MPT.
