Job description
Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs routine diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. May have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees. Manages or identifies each patient's requirements relative to his or her age‑specific needs. Willingly performs other duties as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
NYS license/registration or eligible.
ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine or board eligible.
Minimum of five years of progressive technical experience required.
CPR certification required.
Candidates who are graduates of a Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent, holding a NYS license/registration, and either an ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine or board eligible, and have less than one year of experience will be considered for an entry level position at a commensurate title and salary.
Preferred Qualifications
SPECT‑CT experience preferred.
Work Days
Monday‑Friday 8 am‑4:30 pm – rotating call coverage evening and weekends.
