Medical ReceptionistLindhurst Medical - Olivehurst, CA 95961OverviewSalary Range $26.25 - $35.43 Hourly Position Type Per DiemDescriptionPER DIEM POSITION - 30690Medical Receptionist – Ampla Health Join Ampla Health as a Medical Receptionist, where you'll be the first point of contact for patients—ensuring a positive experience both in person and over the phone. You'll manage front desk operations, verify coverage, and support administrative tasks that keep our clinic running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:Greet patients, manage incoming calls, and schedule appointmentsComplete patient registration and update Electronic Health Records (EHR)Verify insurance coverage, co-pays, and patient eligibilityCollect and post payments; reconcile daily cash transactionsMaintain daily schedules and front desk inventorySupport daily clinic operations and administrative needsQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredMedical Assistant certification requiredBasic proficiency in Microsoft Word; able to type 40+ WPMExperience with payment collection and insurance verificationBilingual (Spanish, Punjabi, or Hmong) preferredStrong communication, organizational, and customer service skillsWorking Conditions:Fast-paced clinic environmentAble to lift 40 lbs and push 100 lbs on wheelsFrequent standing, bending, and reachingExposure to infectious diseases possibleWhy Ampla Health?
