Medical ReceptionistLocation: Camden, NJRate: 18-23/hrWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented medical receptionist to join our team. As a medical receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing patient records, and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.Responsibilities:Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly mannerAnswer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front deskVerify patient information and update medical recordsCollect co-pays and process insurance informationMaintain cleanliness and organization of the reception areaAssist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documentsFollow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentialityCollaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flowQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2 years experience working in a medical or dental office setting preferredProficient in using office software systemsKnowledge of medical terminology and proceduresStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with phone systems and handling multiple phone linesUnderstanding of HIPAA regulationsIf you are a motivated individual with a passion for providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for the medical receptionist position.
