Medical ReceptionistWe're a fast-paced, friendly dermatology and aesthetics medical practice looking for a Full-time Phone Scheduler/ Receptionist and Office Assistant to join our Centerville team. We're looking for someone who brings positive energy, reliability, and a genuine commitment to excellence every single day.Job DescriptionYour primary focus — phone scheduling and receptionist duties:Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and warmly — you're the first voice patients hearSchedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments with accuracy, efficiency, and careGreet patients warmly when they arrive and assist as needed with check-in and out for visitsAddress patient questions about appointments, procedures, insurance, and billing both over the phone and in-personBuild rapport over the phone — patients should feel heard, valued, and excited about their upcoming visitsManage the scheduling system to ensure appointments are accurate and the schedule runs smoothlyPatient Payments: take patient payments at check in or check out and accurately record them in the patient recordSupporting the office:Manage patient records to ensure all information is current and preciseProcess patient payments accurately and professionallySupport the team with filing, scanning, data entry, and other administrative tasks as neededCommunicate effectively with patients, providers, and teammates — clear communication is everythingQualificationsSchedule & Pay:Full-Time Position: 38-40 hours per weekHours: Monday–Friday scheduling typically 7:30-4:30Starting Pay: $18.50–$19.50/hour based on experience and performanceNote: Schedule may adjust for Federal holidays and staff vacation coverageYour Qualities:Genuinely positive and upbeat — you bring energy and enthusiasm to your work every dayA team player who cares — you actively contribute to a welcoming, supportive office cultureA hard worker — you're willing to roll up your sleeves and do what it takesExcellent communicator — you listen actively, show empathy, and express yourself clearlyReliable and punctual — your teammates and patients count on you to show up and follow throughOrganized and detail-oriented — you anticipate problems and prevent them from happeningCalm and focused — you handle the natural chaos of a busy clinic with grace and professionalismEager to learn — you're genuinely curious and excited about developing new skillsProfessional appearance and demeanor — you represent our practice with prideRequired:Strong customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or similar environments count!).
