Medical ReceptionistSt. Mary Physicians Group, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our Yardley Family Medicine team! Shift: Full-Time, days/eveningsThe Medical Receptionist operates multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel. Sorts incoming mail and dispatches outgoing mail. Schedules appointments for employer or other employees for patients by mail, phone, or in person. Shows computer knowledge including operating a practice management system, internet accessibility and data entry.Responsibilities:Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, and filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent (required)1+ year of physician office experience (preferred)We Offer:Medical, Dental, & Vision CoverageRetirement Savings ProgramPaid Time OffTuition ReimbursementFree ParkingAnd more!Our CommitmentRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
