Front Desk ReceptionistWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front Desk / Patient Access Representative to join our ambulatory surgery center team. This role is essential in providing exceptional patient service while ensuring accurate registration, documentation, and financial processing.Key Responsibilities:Greet patients and visitors in person and by phone in a professional and courteous mannerCollect and verify patient identification and insurance informationEnsure all required documentation and signatures are completed accuratelyUpdate patient accounts and enter demographic and financial information into the systemCollect copayments and deductibles; issue receipts and record payments accuratelyBalance daily upfront collections and prepare deposits as neededNotify clinical staff when patients are ready to be taken backPrepare patient charts for upcoming proceduresMaintain office supplies, receive deliveries, and manage incoming mailProtect patient confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulationsFollow all center policies and procedures and report discrepancies as neededAttend required education and training sessionsPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Strong customer service and communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel and OutlookReliable attendance and punctualityPrior healthcare or front desk experience preferredEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
