Job description
SUMMARY Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Consultant for a long-term contract opportunity. This individual will serve as a hands-on recruiting lead, partnering closely with internal leadership and hiring managers to manage recruiting activities across the organization.
Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions from intake through offer and onboarding coordination
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, timelines, and candidate profiles
Develop and execute recruiting strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates
Manage job postings, candidate activity, interview workflows, and recruiting documentation within the company's ATS/recruiting portal
Coordinate and manage relationships with external staffing and recruiting agencies
Review agency submissions and ensure appropriate communication and follow-up throughout the recruiting process
Serve as a primary point of contact for recruiting activity and provide regular updates on search progress
Coordinate interviews and facilitate feedback between candidates and hiring teams
Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting metrics, and status reporting
Ensure recruiting practices and documentation are consistent, professional, and compliant with applicable employment requirements
Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, workflows, candidate experience, and hiring efficiency
Work independently while collaborating closely with the internal Talent Acquisition/HR team
5+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting or talent acquisition experience
~ Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior-level stakeholders
~ Experience working with and managing external staffing/recruiting agencies
~ Strong experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting portals
~ Ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor and take ownership of recruiting activity
~ Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
~ Strong judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential searches and candidate information
~ Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare industry recruiting experience is a plus but not required
