Job description
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Position Summary
The Scribe supports healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient visits, updating charts, and ensuring necessary information is available for the provider.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and update patient charts and documentation.
Document patient history, provider notes, procedures, medications, and treatment plans.
Enter new patient information and referral data.
Communicate important patient information to the healthcare provider.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and organized records.
Provide professional and courteous service to patients and staff.
Follow applicable healthcare documentation and confidentiality requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 year of scribe experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.
Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and digital/healthcare software.
Healthcare, medical documentation, or insurance experience is a plus.
Must pass a background
Must pass a drug screen
