It's our passion for people that motivates us to do great work every single day.Consistently named among the top 100 Best Places to Work in Maryland, our team members have the opportunity to grow professionally in a supportive and stimulating environment.We are seeking new and experienced Medical Secretaries to join our extraordinary team!As a Medical Secretary you will:Answer telephone calls, handle routine inquiries, and refer non-routine matters to appropriate persons. Obtain, complete and follow up on all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains records and ensures documentation is scanned into patient records.Schedule patient appointments and tests, coordinating with appropriate personnel as necessary. Schedule return visit appointments as appropriate assuring smooth functioning.Assist team with all facets of preparing for patient visits or processing post visit documentation. Assure completion of Consent to Treat, HIPAA and other forms as appropriate.Maintain electronic patient charts. Must have either one (1) year of previous customer service experience or completed an accredited or approved Administrative Assistant program within the last 12 monthsWork Orientation & Experience: Previous healthcare or medical office experience is preferred.Skills & Abilities:Maintain appropriate, professional conduct and appearance at all times, follows office dress code consistentlyComplete work in an established time frame, seek appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed or pace is slow;Demonstrate willingness to perform other duties to assist the team effort for the benefit of the patients, physicians and fellow team members
