Medical Secretary PositionEndeavor Health Services is looking for a Medical Secretary to join our team! This is a full-time position (37.5 hours) at our clinic located at 5360 Genesee in Bowmansville. No weekends or holidays. This position's schedule will be Monday - Thursday 9am - 5:30pm and Friday 9am - 2:30pm. The Medical Secretary will support our clinics. The people we serve, visitors and staff will turn to you for information and help with administrative issues. Our medical secretary should be efficient and well-spoken. If you are patient, computer-savvy and can multitask, we'd like to meet you. Your goal will be to ensure the smooth workflow of our clinic, so that the people we serve receive the best possible care.Responsibilities:Answer telephone and give information to caller, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individualsUse computer for various applications, such as database management or word processingMaintains confidentiality of all agency communicationsGreet the people we serve and visitors and handle their inquiriesSchedule and confirm appointments for the people we serveCollect co-pays when necessary and provide the people we serve with receiptsOther administrative duties as assignedQualifications:High school or equivalency diploma PLUS minimum of one (1) year full-time paid administrative experience which includes keyboarding and some billing background preferred OR Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a major area of study in administrative duties or medical billing PLUS a minimum of one (1) year full-time paid administrative experienceSalary $18.00-$20.00/hourWe offer competitive salaries and an array of employee benefits, including medical, dental, company paid vision, company paid life, AD&D, and Long Term Disability, voluntary life, AD&D, and Short Term Disability, 401 (K) retirement savings plan with company contribution, 10 paid holiday, generous paid vacation, paid sick time, discounted pet insurance and an Employee Assistance Program.
