Travel Requirements:
As a Quality Engineer 2, you will serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues during operations for a fabrication workcenter. You will support production operations, ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-performance aerospace manufacturing environment.
Serve as the lead quality contact for area operations.
Review production planning for accuracy and adequacy to ensure quality data is properly captured.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions.
Write, issue, and review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with applicable standards.
Perform planning reviews to ensure inspection needs and requirements are fully addressed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and other assigned quality-related tasks.
May be required to be on-call outside of standard working hours for remote support as needed.
Bachelor
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
Bachelors degree in engineering or other technical field from an accredited college or university.
Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and/or issue resolution, preferably within a production or manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
Ability to be on-call outside of working hours for remote support as needed.
Material Review Board Experience.
Proficiency with SAP.
Experience writing or approving production planning.
Quality inspection experience.
