Medical Support Assistant (MSA) — VA Rocky Mountain NetworkEmployer: Aptive Resources Location: VA facilities across VISN 19 (Denver & Grand Junction, CO; Fort Harrison, MT; Salt Lake City, UT; Sheridan & Cheyenne, WY; Oklahoma City, Muskogee & Tulsa, OK).Important Note: You must be located within 50 miles of the VA facility in Denver & Grand Junction, CO; Fort Harrison, MT; Salt Lake City, UT; Sheridan & Cheyenne, WY; Oklahoma City, Muskogee & Tulsa, OK for this opportunitySchedule: Full-time - Monday through Friday Contract: Long-term federal contract — base period beginning September 15, 2026, with option year through September 2028 and possible extensionPrimary ResponsibilitiesAbout the RoleAptive Resources is hiring Medical Support Assistants to support the Department of Veterans Affairs across the Rocky Mountain Network (VISN 19). As an MSA, you'll be the administrative backbone of the care team — making sure Veterans get scheduled, seen, and followed up on without things falling through the cracks.What You'll DoSchedule patient appointments and coordinate calendars for providers and clinicsTrack, review, and respond to electronic orders, consults, and other items in the VA's electronic medical recordSupport the care and treatment of Veterans through accurate, timely administrative processingCommunicate with Veterans, clinical staff, and other departments to resolve scheduling and consult issuesMaintain accurate records in accordance with VA policies and privacy requirements (HIPAA/Privacy Act)Minimum QualificationsWhat You'll Need:High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital administrative role (scheduling experience strongly preferred)Working knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records (VistA/CPRS or Cerner a plus)Strong customer service and communication skills — you'll interact with Veterans dailyAbility to pass a federal background investigation (Tier 1/Low Risk — no security clearance required)U.S. work authorization; must be able to obtain a VA PIV badgeWhy This Role:Serve those who served — direct daily impact on Veterans' access to careStable, long-term federal contract with option periodsFull-time benefitsAbout AptiveArrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
