Join Our Team as a Medical Support Assistant!Our client, the leading multi-specialty healthcare organization in Westchester and Duchess counties, is seeking dedicated Medical Support Assistants to join their dynamic team!Position OverviewAs a Clinical Medical Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in providing care and education to patients, adhering to established standards and practices. You'll update patient charts in EMR systems, document changes, and collaborate with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation. Additionally, you'll be responsible for restocking rooms. Specialties available include OBGYN, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, and Dermatology.ResponsibilitiesProvide care and education to patients following established standards and practices.Update patient charts in EMR systems and document changes.Coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery.Facilitate maximal coordination of efforts and active patient participation in planning and care.Restock rooms as needed.Essential SkillsMedical assistingCustomer serviceMedical terminologyMedical record managementElectronic medical records (EMR) proficiencyExperience with NextGen, Epic, and other EMR systemsPatient access and customer service/people skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent6+ months of clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting, or graduation from an accredited medical assistant programEvidence of prior stable employment and/or favorable referencesWork EnvironmentSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PMDress Code: ScrubsLocations: Various departments including Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, and PhlebotomyCareer Growth: Opportunities within over 40 different locations and specialtiesBenefits: Sick time, tuition reimbursement, and good benefits once permanentPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
